La Grange at Chez Bascle This first floor gite is in a large stone converted barn in a small hamlet surrounded by sunflowers and vineyards. It is light and airy, open plan, modern yet in - keeping with the French character. The Kitchen has a fridge, small cooker, microwave and washing machine. The Dining Area seats four, plus high chair, if needed. The Lounge Area has a two - seater sofa and two armchairs plus u.k. t.v. The Bedrooms have two twin beds, wardrobe with draws, reading lights and fans. Linen provided. We also have a newly renovated downstairs double bedroom with ensuite, suitable for wheelchair users. Also provided are hair drier, iron and ironing board, cot, all towels for the gite, pool and beach. Various games, puzzles and books. The Pool is salt water and is 12x6m with one third shallow and the rest 1.6m deep, so even non swimmers can enjoy it. It is therefore possible for adults to stand at the deepest part when playing with their children. There is a sun terrace, sun beds, BBQ, table and chairs under a shaded area for drinks and alfresco dining. La Grange at Chez Bascle is in an ideal position between the two market towns of Mirambeau and Jonzac.
